About Us
Fisherman's Point Campground is a municipal campground located on a wooded peninsula of Whitewater Lake in northern Minnesota, featuring 93 secluded campsites with all the amenities and scenery you could ask for. Please visit our About Us page for more information about our campground and additional activities located less than two miles away in downtown Hoyt Lakes. Although NONE of our sites have sewer or water hook-ups we do have a filtered city water fill station and a dump station available on site, for our campers free of charge.
The regular 2025 camping season will run from April 25 to September 22, 2025.

3 PM- 7 PM 7 Days a Week
Nightly Rates: With Electric and Lake access $40 per night
With Electric No Lake access $30 per night
With out Electric (Site #49 only) $20 per night
Pet Fee $10 per pet per stay
Check In Time: 1 P.M. Daily (we do not offer early check in or late check outs)
Check Out Time: 11 A.M. Daily
Please note that the office doesn't open until 3 PM daily, but if you arrive to check in to your site before 3 pm; you can proceed to your campsite and you can come to the office to check in once the office opens or you can check in online at fishermanspointmn.com

Reservations
Reservations are made using our online reservation system by clicking Make Reservations, located on the left side of the screen. You will need a username and password to make reservations. If you are not yet registered, click on My Account to the left and register.
Reservations are strongly recommended during the camping season. Please call 218-225-3337 or email the campground office @ info@fishermanspointmn.com with questions, reservation changes or if you need assistance making a reservation.
Cancellations are accepted by the Campground Manager via telephone and email. First day campsite rental fee is non-refundable for any reason. The City of Hoyt Lakes will not issue any refunds or credits for any reservation cancellation.
During the Off-Season (end of September to 10/31/2025)

2025 Nightly Information:
Camping at Fisherman's Point is at your own risk. The City of Hoyt Lakes is not responsible for damage or loss to any property. There is limited severe weather shelter space available in the event of storms. Please contact the East Range Police Department (218-225-2000) for more information. We attempt to notify campers of inclement weather whenever possible; however, it is your responsibilty to stay informed and have a safety plan in place to protect yourself and your family from severe weather threats. Please be aware that Fisherman's Point road may become impassable in severe weather.
